TurnMill example part 2: Preparatory steps

The preparatory steps define the stock and determine the coordinate system and view.

1. On the Dimensions page of the Stock wizard:
   • Select Round.
   • Enter a Length of 2.
   • Enter an OD (outside diameter) of 3.
   • Enter an ID (inside diameter) of 0.
2. Click Finish and Edit Setup to display the Setup Properties dialog.
3. On the Zero tab, select Align to stock face.
4. Click to position the datum of the part.
5. Click Apply then OK to close the dialog.
6. Click View tab > Navigate panel > Resize menu > Resize to fit.
7. On the Options > General > Dialogs page, select Diameter to let you enter coordinates as Diameter and Z values.
