To use an insert drill for drilling and boring:
- Create the drilling and boring operations.
- Override the tool for the drilling operation to use an insert drill.
- Override the tooling for the boring operations to use the same insert drill.
In the Tool Mapping dialog, the insert drill is listed twice. Each listing has the same tool slot, but the Length offset registers are different.
