Use the Post Variables tab of the Feature Properties dialog to set the operation-level post variables.
The tab contains a list of variables. You can enter a Value for each variable so that when the variable's name is used in the post, the assigned value is output to the NC code.
To assign a value to a variable, select the variable's name in the list, and enter the value. Ensure that when you enter the value it is displayed in the Value list.
You can assign a different value to a variable for each operation, and you can set the default values for the document in the Machining Attributes dialog. The value output to the NC code is taken from the active operation.
You can set a comment for each operation. The operation's comment is included in the operation sheet after the operation's details.
You can set the set a default comment for the document in the Machining Attributes dialog. If you do not enter a comment for an operation, the default comment is not included.
