For block stock, you can compute the stock dimensions from items in the document, such as geometry, features, and solids.
Note: This only changes the size of the stock. It does not affect the part programming origin.

Right-click the stock in the
Part View and select
Properties.
- On the
Dimensions tab of the
Stock Properties dialog, select
Block.
- Click
Resize.
- In the
Stock Dimensions page of the Resize wizard, select
Compute stock size from the size of the part.
- Enter an
extra stock size in the positive and negative direction for each axis to increase or decrease the computed stock dimensions. You can enter positive or negative values.
- Click
Preview to preview the stock in the Graphics window.
- Click
Next.
- If the document does not contain any features:
- Select
Move Geometry to resize the stock and move the geometry items within the stock boundary.
- Select
Move Stock to resize and move the stock without moving the geometry items.
- Click
Finish.
