Select Home tab > Part Program panel > Features and use the New Feature wizard to create a feature.
Right-click an item in the graphics window or the Part View panel and select Properties.
Right-click an item in the graphics window or the Part View panel and select Rename.
Select a feature and click Home tab > Select and Edit panel > Delete.
Click and drag a feature in the Part View to place it under a different Setup
When you create a feature, it is automatically included for manufacturing in the current Setup of the process plan.
Sometimes, it is convenient to exclude a feature from the manufacturing plan without deleting the feature. If a feature is not included in the process plan, the toolpaths, and the NC code generated by the post processor exclude that feature entirely.
Features that are included in the process plan have a check mark next to them in the Part View.
To include a feature in the manufacturing plan, right-click it in the Part View and select Include in Plan.
To exclude a feature from the manufacturing plan, right-click it in the Part View and select Exclude from Plan.
