Nudging Segments with Keyboard Shortcuts

You can now nudge selected segments to the left, right, top or bottom by using keyboard shortcuts when the Select and Trim editorial modes are selected.

Nudge 1 Frame Forward	Alt+Right	Alt + Shift + Right
Nudge 1 Frame Backward	Alt+Left	Alt + Shift + Left
Nudge 1 Track Up	Alt+Up	Alt + Shift + Up
Nudge 1 Track Down	Alt+Down	Alt + Shift + Down
Nudge <n> Frames Forward	Enter a number on the keypad and then, Alt+Shift+ Right	Enter a number on the keypad and then, Ctrl + Alt + Shift + Right
Nudge <n> Frames Backward	Enter a number on the keypad and then, Alt+Shift+ Left	Enter a number on the keypad and then, Ctrl + Alt + Shift + Left

• Nudging to the left or right moves the selected segments in time. You can nudge the segments until they meet a segment not part of the selection.
• Nudging to the top or bottom moves the selected segments between tracks. You can nudge the segments until they meet a segment not part of the selection.
  • You can only nudge segments between tracks, not versions.
  • If you nudge a segment up and it's already on the top track, a new track gets created to host the segment.
