Installing for Autodesk Vault (Plant Projects)

Software Requirements

Autodesk Vault Server 2022 or later must be available to open or create vault projects. AutoCAD Plant 3D 2022 supports the following Vault Servers:

Vault Server Workgroup 2022
Vault Server Professional 2022

You cannot use AutoCAD Plant 3D or AutoCAD P&ID to create vault projects on a Vault Basic server.

Installation of Autodesk Vault Client 2022 (also known as Vault explorer) is required to work with AutoCAD Plant 3D Vault projects. For more information, see Configure Vault for Plant Projects.

Note: You must first migrate your vault to Vault Server 2022 before you can access plant projects in the vault using AutoCAD Plant 3D 2022. After you migrate your vault, you can then migrate your plant projects one at a time.
