Add marking symbol annotations to the drawing. The marking symbol is represented by a reference to technical requirements. The reference appears in a circle accompanied by marking content and method annotation.
Add marking symbols in GOST drawings
- On the ribbon, click Annotate (ESKD) tabSymbols panelMarking Symbol . A plus (+) sign and a box appear beside the cursor.
- In the graphics window, click the location on the drawing where you want to add the symbol. The location you select changes color.
- Move the cursor to a different location. A leader line extends from the target to the cursor.
- Click to set a point.
- In the Content and Technique section, click the down-arrows beside each field to select the appropriate marking contents. The Leader-based Text field is automatically updated with the proper annotations.
- In the Edit field in the Leader-based Text section, add your text to appear on the leader line.
- In the Edit field in the Tech Requirements section, add the technical requirements text.
- Click OK to add the symbol to the drawing.
Edit or delete marking symbols
- To edit, double-click the symbol to launch the dialog box, or right-click to display a context menu and select the edit option.
- To delete, click the symbol to highlight and press Delete.
