- To specify a dimension as an inspection dimension, right-click a dimension and select Edit.
- In the Edit Dimension dialog box, click the Inspection Dimension tab.
- Select the Inspection Dimension check box and then specify attributes:
- Specify None, rounded, or angular to specify the shape.
- In the Label box, enter the label text.
- In the Inspection Rate box, enter the frequency of inspection. For example, if all parts must be inspected, enter 100%.
- Optionally, click in the Label or Inspection Rate box, and then click the arrow to select a symbol to insert.
- Click OK to close the dialog box and add the inspection attributes to the dimension.
Note: If a dimension is specified as an inspection dimension, but the tolerance method is changed to either Basic or Reference, the inspection attributes are removed.
