To Align Text Boxes

Arrange text boxes neatly, optionally set a standard distance between boxes.

You can align text boxes either vertically or horizontally.

  1. In the graphics window, select two or more text boxes. All of the selected text boxes must either be on the drawing sheet or within a sketch. You cannot align sketch text boxes with text boxes on the sheet.
Note: The first text box selected determines the placement of the group.
  2. Right-click and choose Align from the menu.
  3. In the Align Text dialog box, select the type of alignment and justification.
  4. To set a standard distance between the aligned text boxes, enter an offset value.
  5. Click Apply to see your changes. The dialog box remains open so you can continue to adjust the alignment.
Note: You must set the type of alignment each time you adjust the offset.
