To Work with Position Geometry for iFeatures

You can add, remove, rename, or combine position geometry, or make position geometry independent.

Add or Remove Position Geometry

• In the Extract iFeature dialog, do one of the following:
  • To add position geometry, in the Selected Features tree, right-click the geometry, and then click Add Geometry.
  • To remove position geometry, in the Position Geometry list, right-click the geometry to remove, and then click Remove Geometry.

Rename Position Geometry

1. In the Extract iFeature dialog, in the Size Parameters table, click Name to enter a descriptive name to identify the Position Geometry.
2. In Prompt, click to enter a description that appears in a dialog when placing the Position Geometry.

Combine Position Geometry

1. In the Extract iFeature dialog, right-click the geometry in the Position Geometry list or the Selected Features tree.
2. Select Combine Geometry.
3. Select another item in the list to combine with the first.

Make Position Geometry Independent

1. In the Extract iFeature dialog, right-click the shared geometry in the Position Geometry list or the Selected Features tree.
2. Select Make Independent.
