Access
In the File 
Open dialog box, select an .idw file and then click Options.
Full When selected, checks that all referenced files resolve, are found, for the view to be presented. For files that do not resolve, you are given the option to manually resolve or skip those files.
Defer When selected, suppresses automatic update for the active drawing. Clear the check box to enable drawing updates when the model changes. An icon
appears next to drawing views and models that need updating. This allows you to selectively update your drawing views.
File References
- Skip all unresolved files Defers the resolve action for files not found, and continues opening the specified file. An unresolved icon displays in the browser next to unresolved links. You can right-click the top browser node of a file containing unresolved files to initiate a Resolve File command. Clear the check box to resolve links on file open.
