- On the ribbon, click Annotate (ESKD) tabFormat panelTechnical Requirements .
- In the Technical Requirements area, type the notes and requirements.
- Using the commands at the top of the dialog box, add symbols, formatting, fractions, lists, and change text settings as needed.
- In the Associative Text frame, choose the appropriate properties. The Precision field activates when you select Physical Properties - Model from the Type drop-down menu.
- Click OK to accept the requirements.
Insert fractions
- Click Insert Stack in the Technical Requirements toolbar.
- In the Text section:
- In the Upper field, type the numerator of the fraction.
- In the Lower field, type the denominator of the fraction.
- In the Appearance section:
- In the Format field, define how the fraction appears in the technical requirement.
- In the Position field, define the fraction's alignment location.
- In the Fractional Text Scale field, define the fraction's scale in relation to the text size in the technical requirement.
- Click OK to accept the fraction and close the dialog box. The fraction appears in the technical requirements.
Split placement on drawing
When you place the technical requirements list on the drawing, the list can be split into two parts. For example, you can set 15 lines in the first list and a maximum of one section. When you place the parts list on the drawing, the first section on the drawing has 15 lines and remaining lines are placed in the next section.
