Preview |
Displays the schematic image of the bevel gear dimensions. Click Gear 1, Gear 2 to see appropriate calculated results. Note: For description of the calculated parameters in the Results area, see Engineer's Handbook.

Gear 1, Gear 2
Specifies the type of gear (Component, no model) and the placement of gear.
There are two options for the method to insert the bevel gear. According to your selection, commands for placement are enabled in the Gear 1 and Gear 2 boxes.
- Component - new component is created.
- No Model - inserts only calculation.

Check the Gear 2 box to enter values for Gear 2. |

Results
To display the Results area on the right side of the Calculation and Design tabs, double-click the double line on the right or click the chevron.
Displays the calculated values and the key strength check. Values are calculated when Calculate is pressed.
To change the units of the results values, double-click the specified value you want to change.

Summary of Messages
Displays the reports about calculation. To open the Summary of Messages at the bottom of the Calculation and Design tabs, double-click the double line at the bottom of tabs or if you click the chevron.
Graphical Preview
Graphical preview of the designed bevel gear is presented in the Autodesk Inventor window when you specify the bevel gear placement (cylindrical face must be selected). Preview changes according to changes made in Bevel Gears Generator.
