Because an assembly file may contain multiple Positional representations, you can specify one when you open the file or place it as a component in an assembly.
- Use File Open to find the assembly file.
- In the Open File dialog box, browse to the assembly file you want to open, and then click Options.
- In the File Open Options dialog box, select a public or private Design View representation, if appropriate.
- Click the arrow on the Positional Representation box and then select one of the listed names.
- Click OK to close the dialog box, and then click Open.
The assembly is displayed with the selected Positional representation activated.
