Commands for Intent Models

Updates for Intent models in Inventor
On the Quick Access Toolbar at the top left of the Inventor application window. A green light indicates that Intent model updates are enabled. Red indicates that updates are suspended.
System Messages in Inventor
On the Inventor ribbon, Tools tab, ETO panel. Opens the Intent System Messages dialog box that displays system information like startup notifications, warnings, and alerts, and logs all error messages.
Remote Services
On the Inventor ribbon, Tools tab, ETO panel. Starts or stops the remote services (WCF) host. ETO Developer Studio uses the remote services host to connect the Intent Model browser, console, and other controls in Visual Studio to the active Intent model.

You can switch Remote Services to on or off programmatically. To start the service, it is required that you load an Intent Model, and activate the command.

Close Unreferenced Documents
Inventor keeps documents in memory for later reuse. Inventor closes documents as memory demands increase, and when closing an Intent model. However, after intensive Intent operations, the number of unreferenced documents in memory can grow. You can release these documents from Inventor memory. On the ribbon Tools tab, ETO panel, use Close Unreferenced Documents.
