This design provides global variables to all the parts in the model. The %%project part that is above the root of the model mixes in this design so that all the parts in the model have access to these values. To add global variables or change the definitions of those provided, the GlobalVariablesModifier design can be overridden. Overriding the design can be accomplished by creating a new design with the name GlobalVariablesModifier and placing it in the project library or another library that has precedence over the kernlib library. New global variable rules can then be added to this design .
