iv_MaterialProperties()

Synopsis

Returns the list of material properties for a given material available on the part . Optional filter may restrict the set of properties returned. Each item in the returned list is a list of name and value, each represented as a string .

Syntax

iv_MaterialProperties ( part As Part, _
                        material As String, _
                        Optional filter As String = "*" ) As List 

Argument	Type	Description
Part	part	Inventor component whose material properties are sought
Material	string	Name of material
filter	string	Optional; possible values are "*" - default, returns all properties "optical" - returns only optical properties "mechanical" - returns only mechanical properties a specific property name.
