Working with an Enterprise Industry Model

Start AutoCAD Map 3D toolset and switch to the Maintenance workspace.  

If you always work with enterprise industry models , make the Maintenance workspace your default.

Open an enterprise industry model project   Connect to the project and log in.
Generate graphics to display data in your map.  

Display your map with the geometry stored in the database.

Create features.  

You can create features by digitizing or by importing geometry data.

Edit existing feature geometry.  

Edit feature geometry with AutoCAD commands or with the Geometry Editor.

Work with feature class forms.  

Use feature class forms to edit, view, and analyze feature data stored in the enterprise industry model.

Generate reports.  

Generate standard reports or user-defined reports for each form. You can add, edit, or remove reports assigned to a feature class form.

Check topologies.  

Use the Manage Connections control to view and edit logical topologies. Use the Topology Checker to validate topologies .

Plot.  

Create plot layouts and save them as plot templates. Define the map area and plot quickly and accurately. The Plot extension plots the current state of the features on demand. You can print a plot or save it to a file.
