To Change the Name of an Inserted Image

Image names are not necessarily the same as image file names. When you attach an image to a drawing using the Insert An Image command, AutoCAD Map 3D toolset uses the file name without the file extension as the image name. You can change the image name without affecting the name of the file.

To change an image name

1. Click Insert tabImage panelImage Management. Find
2. In the Image Manager dialog box, select the image name.
3. Click the image name again to edit it.
4. Enter the new name.
5. Click OK.
