Use this dialog box to import and convert data from various formats into industry model data.
The Convert to Industry Model dialog box includes the following options:
Lists data sources and provides controls for managing data. Available options include:
Add File-based Sources To Convert — convert data from DWG, SDF, SHP, and SQLite sources to design features.
Add FDO Connection Sources To Convert — convert data from an FDO connection to design features.
Add Enterprise Industry Model Sources To Convert — convert data stored in previous versions of AutoCAD Map 3D toolset Enterprise.
Filter Source — apply a filter to the source data.
Set Coordinate System — change the coordinate system assigned to the source data, if necessary.
Copy — copies a selected piece of source data.
Paste — pastes the copied source data into the Source Data list.
Remove — click to remove a selected piece of source data from the Source Data list. Use to define the mapping between source data items and feature classes and attributes in the AutoCAD Map 3D toolset drawing.
The left column in the Data Mapping area displays layers, entities, blocks, or object data. The right column displays the corresponding feature classes and attributes that are mapped to the source data.
Click to automatically map all feature classes and their properties once the industry model is assigned.
Allows data mappings to be saved as a profile. The profile can be reloaded for future conversions.
Reinitializes and validates the connectivity of features and runs design validation rules. If connectivity and rule errors are encountered, they are displayed in the Validation Results palette when the source data is converted.
