To Export a Schema

You can export a schema as an XML or XSD file.

To export a schema to XML or XSD format

1. Connect to the feature source whose schema you want to export.
2. In Map Explorer, select the feature source in the connection tree (at the top of the pane) and click SchemaEdit Schema.
3. In the Schema Editor, select Schemas (the top-most node in the Schema tree) and click Export Schema on the Schema Editor toolbar.
4. In the Save dialog box, specify whether to save the schema in XML or XSD format.
5. Navigate to the desired directory and enter a name for the file.
6. Click Save.
