To Export to File Geodatabase (FGDB) Format

You can export the FDO vector layer data to a file geodatabase (FGDB) format.

1. Click Home tabArcGIS panelExport to FGDB.
2. In the Export to FGDB dialog box, select the layers you want to export.
3. Under Spatial Filter, select one of the following:
   • None. Exports all features of the selected layers to FGDB.
   • Current view. Exports the features of the layers in the current map view.
   • Draw window. Exports the area in the map that is enclosed in the window selection.
4. Click OK.
5. Specify the ArcGIS category and ArcGIS layer name for each Map 3D layer.
6. Click each layer to display a list of attributes that you can export for the Map 3D layer.

   You can select the check boxes for the attributes you want to export and change the default attribute name.

7. Click OK.
8. Specify a file name and location for the file geodatabase. Click Save.
