MAXScript Editor - Language Menu
The Language menu of the Tabbed MAXScript Editor introduced in 3ds Max 2008 contains commands for switching the syntax coloring between the currently installed modes:

Text(SHIFT+F11) - no syntax coloring

MAXScript - default for .ms and .mcr files

Properties - default for .properties files
-
Hypertext - default for HTML files
-
XML - default for XML files
