When creating constraints for nCloth and passive collision object, be aware of the following components-specific behaviors:
- You can use Component to Component constraints to make object to component or object to object connections. To do this, select the object rather than the object components. All of the object's vertices are then included in the constraint
- For constraints between faces, when one face is rotated the other will move as if it is rigidly attached.
- Constraints between edges are free to hinge unless Bend is turned on. See dynamicConstraintShape node.

Tangent Strength on the nComponent node affects constraints differently depending on the constrained component. For constraints between points, Tangent Strength has no effect since there no surface normals (just distance between the points). For constraints that use a surface or a face, Tangent Strength controls the stiffness of the link in the direction parallel to the face or surface.
- Only use Bend and Bend Strength for constraints between edges. Although the Attribute Editor allows Bend to be turned on for constraints between edges and faces, do not use it for this type of constraint.
