To generate profiling data using the DG Profiler
- Load a scene in Maya.
- Open the DG Profiler (Windows > General Editors > DG Profiler).
Note: If DG Profiler does not appear in the General Editors menu, ensure that the dgProfiler.mll plug-in is loaded in the Plug-in Manager (Windows > Setting/Preferences > Plug-in Manager).
- Start the profiling process by doing one of the following:
- Select Profiling > Profile!.
- Click Profile!.
