You can use the
Wedge feature to extrude a face to quickly create:
- arches in buildings
- knees and elbows in characters
- curved sections of roads or tunnels
To extrude polygons in an arc or wedge shape
- Switch to
Multi component selection mode.
- Select the face(s) you want to extrude, then select the edge(s). This edge can be on the same mesh, or an entirely different mesh. If multiple edges are selected, extrusions will rotate around their average orientation.
- Select
Edit Mesh > Wedge.
- In the
In-View Editor that appears, adjust the polyWedgeFace node attributes.
