Python 3

Maya on Windows and Linux now starts in Python 3 mode by default.

Python 3 is available on all platforms. On Windows and Linux, Maya can still be started in Python 2 mode by following the instructions in the updated Python in Maya section.

Note: Maya for macOS can only be started in Python 3 mode. Python 2 is no longer available for Maya on macOS.
