You can mute and unmute animated Transformation properties and channels similarly to locking and unlocking Transformation properties and channels to prevent any changes to the animation from happening on the selected property or channel. When an animated Transformation property or channel is muted, its current value becomes the static value for this property or channel.
To mute an animated property in the Resources window:
- In the Navigator window Scene browser or in the Viewer window, select an object or element.
- In the Resources window, click the Properties tab.
- In the Properties pane, select a property or
Ctrl-click to select multiple properties that want to mute.
- Right-click, and choose select Mute Selected from the menu that appears.
- (Optional) Expand the muted property to see how muted properties are displayed.
To unmute a property:
To mute an animated channel in the Resources window:
- In the Navigator window Scene browser or in the Viewer window, select an object or element.
- In the Resources window, click the Properties tab.
- In the Properties pane, expand a property if required to access its channels.
- Select the channel or
Ctrl-click the channels you want to mute.
- Right-click and choose Mute Selected from the menu that appears.
The context menu displays the options available for the selected channel.
To unmute a channel:
- Right-click the channel you want to unmute and choose
Unmute Selected
from the menu that appears.
