Make an optical data segment current

1. In the Optical editor, move the Timeline indicator within the segment.
2. In the Optical Options pane, click the Label tab and make sure the optical marker (label) is not set to Done.
   

   Setting a marker to Done indicates the data segment representing the marker is inactive in the Optical settings and active in the FCurves window for editing and filtering.
