You can modify the MotionBuilder splash screen using an new environment variable: MOTIONBUILDER_ICON_PATH.
The list of directories used in the environment variable determines the location from where MotionBuilder loads icons or images. The first file name MoBuStartupImage with a supported extension is used as the startup splash screen image.
