After you have finished your structure cell in the 3S Generator, and have it present in the
Structure Library in the project tree, you can apply it to your part using the 3S Executor.
- Select the part in the Parts section of the project tree.
- From the toolbar, click
New Structure.
Tip: You can also right-click the part and choose Modify > New Structure.
- Select the structure.
The selected structure is applied to the selected part. It is added as a subdirectory of the part in the project tree. It contains directories for the volume data and volume groups. After selecting elements in that directory, the functionality of the 3S Executor becomes available and selective space structures are applied to a part.
