To Create a Model Package

Create packages of small parts to avoid losing them in the build space. The size of the package depends on the outbox size of the various parts. To create the smallest package possible, minimize the outbox size with the Minimize Outbox tool.

1. Click Prepare > Create Model Package.

   

2. Move close together all the parts you want to join together in a package.
3. Select all the parts you want to join in a model package.
4. Right-click the selected parts and choose Create Package from the context menu.

   

   The packages you create are listed in the Project Tree.

To remove the cage from around the parts

1. Select the cage so that only it is highlighted.
2. Right-click on the cage and select Remove from the context menu.
3. Click Yes when prompted.
   Note: This action does not ungroup the model package.

To ungroup the model package

1. Select the model package in the Project Tree.
2. Right-click and select Ungroup from the context menu.
3. Click Yes when prompted.
   Note: This action does not remove the cage.
