The advanced part selection allows you to select parts depending on whether they meet certain properties:
Select parts by outbox
To select parts by outbox size you have the options:

Outbox is larger than and
Outbox is smaller than
- Fields to specify a value for the lengths along each cardinal axes
- A selection whether all three length values must be met (in all directions or
in at least one direction)
- A selection to
Ignore orientation checkbox to ignore the current orientation of the part.
Select parts by volume
Parts can be selected by their volume being larger or smaller than a given value.
Note: Parts with holes do not have a volume and cannot be selected with this method.
Select parts by quality
You may have
Netfabb select:
- all valid parts (closed and correctly oriented parts)
- all faulty parts (parts that are not valid)
- all closed parts (no open triangle edges or holes)
- all parts with holes (parts with open edges)
- all oriented parts (all triangles are oriented correctly)
- all non-oriented parts (contains triangles which are not oriented correctly)
- all parts with more than one shell
- all parts with exactly one shell
Select parts by number of triangles
Parts can be selected depending on whether their number of triangles is larger or smaller than a given value.
Select parts by their Z height
Parts can be selected by their Z height meeting one of these options:
- parts are completely over
- parts are partly over
- parts are completely under
- parts are partly under
... a given value.
