To extract shells manually

Pick individual shells from a multi-shell part to be turned into separate parts

The Extract shells manually command allows you to select specific shells to extract into a new part. It is essentially a shortcut to one of Netfabb's repair actions.

1. Select the part.
2. In the menu, click Modify > Edit shells > Extract shells manually.

   This opens the repair with the Shell selection active.

3. Select the shells to separate into another part.
4. From the menu, click Repair > Edit mesh > Separate selection as parts.
