Working with Single Structure Cells

To apply structures to parts, you have to design a single structure cell which is multiplied in the part. When you add a structure to your project, it will automatically include an empty cell.

To add additional cells

1. Click Structures > Create New Cell.
   Tip: You can also right-click Cells and choose Create New Cell.

After a new cell is created, a number of commands become available that allow you to operate on the cell structure. The use of these commands is discussed in the related 3S Generator topics.

To open previously saved cells

1. Click Structures > Load Cell.
   Tip: You can also right-click Cells and select Import Cell.
2. Browse for the existing *.3scell file and click Open.

To export and save a structure cell

1. Click Cell > Export.
   Tip: You can also right-click the cell in the project tree and select Export Cell.
2. Browse to your working directory and give the file a name.
3. Click Save. Structure files are saved with a *.3scell file extension.
