In this method, the tangent of the curve at a point closest to the element origin is projected on the element x-y plane to compute the material orientation.
As shown in the example below, an edge can be selected as the orientation vector, like the circular edge on the hole.
After clicking the OK button, the arrows in the elements follow the circular edge of the hole and are always tangent to it.
