If Type is set to Initial Condition, then the dialog will look as shown below.
Initial conditions can be applied to bodies, surfaces, curves, and vertices. When applied to a body, all nodes will take on that initial condition. Only initial displacement, rotation, velocity, and angular velocity can be defined.
When the initial condition type is set to temperature, bodies do not need to be selected. Only a temperature magnitude needs to be defined. This will apply an initial temperature to all bodies.
Initial conditions are used for nonlinear and dynamic analyses.
