To use SwitchBack with Inventor

1. Start Inventor so that both it and Autodesk Navisworks are running simultaneously.
2. In Autodesk Navisworks, select an object in the Scene View.
3. On the Ribbon click Item Tools tab SwitchBack panel SwitchBack .
   Note: Inventor SwitchBack only supports Inventor file types .ipt and .iam.

   The currentAutodesk Navisworks camera view is taken back to Inventor, and the same object is selected.

   Tip: Alternatively, you can right-click over the object in the Scene View and select SwitchBack from the pop-up context menu. You can also right-click over the object node in the Selection Tree and select SwitchBack.
4. Make the changes in Inventor, then save the changes.
5. Return to Autodesk Navisworks, and click Refresh on the Quick Access toolbar to view the modified object.
