Use the filter to show (lock) selected items and their associated takeoff geometries on the 2D worksheet. All unselected items and takeoffs are hidden. This helps you manage the visibility of complex takeoffs, and only view the takeoff geometry that you are currently working on. Locked items are highlighted in orange on the Navigation pane. You can filter one or more items or groups of items on a single sheet, or across several sheets.
- In the Navigation Pane, select an item or group of items
- Click Filter Markup. Alternatively, right-click the selected item or group
Lock Visible. The selected item or group of items is highlighted in orange, and remains visible. Any unselected items and their takeoffs are hidden on the worksheet. - To unlock the filter and display all items and takeoffs, click Filter Markup again or right-click Unlock Visible.
Note: When you save the worksheet, your filter settings are also saved.
