Edit Dimension dialog (PartMaker)

Use the Edit Dimension dialog to edit the dimension that is currently selected in the CAD window.

To display the Edit Dimension dialog:

• Select the dimension you want to edit and then select View > Dimensions and Notes > Edit Dimension; or
• Double-click on the dimension you want to edit.

The following settings are available:

User Text — Select this option if you want to be able to modify the dimension value that PartMaker calculates.

Text Area — Shows the dimension value. If User Text is selected, you can edit the value displayed.

Insert Symbols — If you want symbols to appear in the dimension, use following buttons to insert these symbols:

• Diameter — Click to insert the diameter symbol.
• Degree — Click to insert the degree symbol.
• Plus Minus — Click to insert the plus/minus symbol.
• Depth — Click to insert the depth symbol.

Dimension Properties — Click to display the Dimension Properties dialog. Use this dialog to control how the dimension appears (for example, the font used) in the Face window.
