Spindle Settings dialog - PartMaker/Turn

In PartMaker/Turn, the following options are available on the Spindle Settings dialog.

Machine Type — This displays a machine type of Lathe.

Main Spindle

• Work Holding — Select an option to specify how the main spindle grips the part for machining. This option applies to Basic Simulation and Advanced Simulation. The following options are available:
  • Collet
  • Chuck
• Chuck Data — If the work holding is a chuck, click this button to display the Chuck Data dialog to view, or modify, details about the chuck.

Simulation Settings

• Spindle(s) Transparency — Specifies how transparent the spindle(s) should appear. 0% creates a solid spindle, 100% creates a fully transparent (invisible) spindle(s).
• Spindle(s) Color — Click this button to choose the color of spindle(s).
