Use the Profile Info dialog to view, or change, information about the currently selected element on a profile curve in the Face window.
To display the dialog, select an element (line or arc) on the profile curve in the Face window and then click
.
The following settings are available for WireEDM operations:
Taper

Angle (A) — Enter the taper angle of the wire.

Register Number — Enter the register number on the control, which is used for post processing.

Conical/Cylindrical/Linear — Select the taper type:

Conical — Select to use a Conical taper.This applies only to a circular arc. The center of the circular arc remains unchanged for the top and bottom profiles.

Cylindrical — Select to use a Cylindrical taper. This applies only to a circular move.
If the Programmed Surface is Top in the Profile Group Parameters dialog, the center of the circular arc shifts by an Angle (A) on the bottom profile.
If the Programmed Surface is Bottom in the Profile Group Parameters dialog, the center of the circular arc shifts by an Angle (A) on the top profile.

Linear — Select to use a Linear taper. This applies only to a linear move. When two adjacent elements have a different Angle (A),using the Linear taper type smooths the transition between them.

Apply to All — Click to apply the taper settings to all the elements on the profile curve.
Glue Stop

None — Select so no glue stop point is defined for the profile element.

Start Point of Profile Element — Select so a glue stop point is defined at the start point of the profile element.

At Distance From End of Profile Element — Select so a glue stop point is defined at a specified distance from the end point of the profile element. Enter the distance from the end point in the Distance field.

Previous — Click to select the previous element on the profile curve.

Next — Click to select the next element on the profile curve.
