Profile Group Parameters dialog - Turning (PartMaker)

The Profile Group Parameters dialog is displayed when you select Part Features > New Profile Group.

For turning, you can use the dialog to create, or modify, various types of profile groups:

After creating a profile group, you can use icons, such as the Point-to-Point Profile icon or the Chain icon, to construct profiles for the group.

Tip: PartMaker automatically constructs profiles when using the Cut-Off strategy.

If have Turning enabled in PartMaker/Mill, the available strategies are Turning, Contouring, Grooving, and Threading.

Note: Thread Whirling strategies are available only in PartMaker/SwissCAM and PartMaker/Turn-Mill.
