Surface Inspection page (Options Dialog)

Control the pasting and naming of inspection points.

The following options are displayed.

• Maximum points when pasted from Point-Cloud — Maximum number of points that can be pasted into an inspection group.

  PowerInspect excludes any excess points.

• Use surface projected onto as point name prefix — Change the prefix of inspection points to the name of the surface they are projected onto.
  • Rename points now — Change the prefix in all open documents.

  By default, the name of each inspection point is prefixed by a label specified in the Point Names section of the inspection group or section group to which it belongs. Points that are not projected onto a surface are prefixed with <no-surface>.
