Simulation keyboard shortcuts

You can also access the simulation controls on the Simulation tab using keyboard shortcuts:

Note: The keyboard focus has to be in the graphics window for these shortcuts to work, so first click in the graphics window.

The step sizes are dependent on your selection from the Simulation tab > Simulation Controls > Increment menu. The keyboard shortcuts are:

Space — Plays the simulation to the end.

Ctrl + Space — Plays the simulation to the end of the current item.

— Advance one point through the simulation.

+Ctrl — Advance five points through the simulation.

+Ctrl+Shift — Advance fifty steps through the simulation.

+Shift — Advance one tenth of a point through the simulation.

— Reverse one point through the simulation.

+Ctrl — Reverse five points through the simulation.

+Ctrl+Shift — Reverse fifty steps through the simulation.

+Shift — Reverse one tenth of a point through the simulation.

Shift + Page Up — Advance to the next component.

Shift + Page Down — Reverse to the last component.

Page Up — Advance to the next NC item or connection.

Page Down — Reverse to the previous NC item or connection.

End — Moves the tool to the end of the toolpath.

Home — Moves the tool to the start of the toolpath.
