To Share a View
Important: The shared view is created from the current view of the open file. Make sure you are sharing only the information you want to be made public.
PowerMill shares all active entities even if they are undrawn. Deactivate an entity if you do not want to share it. There may be differences between the view in
PowerMill and the shared view in the browser. Before sharing the link to a shared view with collaborators, check the view in a browser.
- Open the file you want to share a view of.
- Click
Home tab >
Collaborate panel >
Shared Views >
New Shared View.
- In the
Share View dialog box, specify a name for the view.
- Click
OK to create a link to a visual representation of the file in
Autodesk Viewer.
A pop-up window provides the link to the shared view in
Autodesk Viewer. This makes it easy for you to send the link to your collaborators.
