To export CAD data with the NC output

When you write an NC program that includes a probing strategy toolpath, export the CAD data so the machine-generated results file has reference data for analysis.

Exporting the CAD data is optional and PowerMill prompts you to allow the export of CAD data when writing an NC program. If you prefer, you can choose to always, or never, export CAD data with the NC output.

1. Click NC Program tab > Edit panel > Settings.
2. Click .
3. On the Probing NC Program Options dialog, choose an option from the Export CAD list.
4. Click Close.
