You can create holes normal to the contact point of pattern's points. This example uses the
powerdrill.dgk model in the
Examples folder.
- Create a simple pattern, in this case a continuous line with two spans.
- Select the pattern. A selected pattern is yellow.
- Click Hole Feature Set tab > Holes panel > Create to display the Create Holes dialog
- Select a
Create from of
Normals.
- Enter an
Upper diameter of
20.
- Click
Apply
to create a hole at the end of each span of the pattern. The holes are normal to the model at that point.
If you look in the Explorer, you can see the holes you have just created.
