How setup sheets are created

By default, setup sheets are created from a set of templates in the ...\file\setup-sheets folder of your PowerMill installation. The template set contains:

• five HTML templates, which determine the content and layout of setup sheets,
• a cascading style sheet, style.css, which determine the formatting.

Each HTML template contains HTML tables and PowerMill specific variables. The variables are replaced by values from PowerMill when the style sheets are created.

You can create different setup sheets by creating your own template sets. You can have as many template sets as you want. For example, if you provide setup sheets for three customers, you could have three separate template sets, called customer_A_setup-sheets, customer_B_setup-sheets, and customer_C_setup-sheets. For each of these template sets, you can specify:

• logos;
• tool images;
• page size and layout;
• fonts;
• date format;
• which PowerMill parameters are included, and so on.

Use the Path tab of the Setup Sheet dialog to specify which template set you want to use to create your setup sheets.
